  They are STILL sending me mail, when the last time I was there for a few months, in 1979, when I was 15! I wanted to join staff, but my blessed dad, who refused to sign toblet me do it. Then they said I would be better off with them, than with my dad, and I left.

  Scientology is fake? Sure. But so is the other thousands of religions around the world, including Christianity. THEY ARE ALL MADE UP BY THE CREATIVE MINDS OF HUMANS! People putting donations into a basket every Sunday and giving money to that fake Priest on night time local channels is no different of a business then Scientology. If it makes you feel good, then go for it. Not everyone is the same. In my opinion, anyone leaning on a religion as a way of life because they can't find it with in themselves to live a good life, is weak. BUT, it's your choice, have at it.

  Very helpful place, and everyone is super friendly. I had a lot of really difficult things going on in my life and they helped me get through it, and to get my life back on track. They helped me entirely out of the goodness of their hearts too, and asked for nothing in return, because the staff genuinely cares. Anytime I need help I know I can come here for advice, and all of the books by L Ron Hubbard have helped me get better control over some area of my life that I'm struggling with.

  6/13/2017 Update: The church sent me another invitation to join. They seem pretty desperate. I asked once again to have my name removed, but I doubt it will do any good.
  
  These guys prey on the weak. Everyone has a weak time in there life from time to time. We all get a bit confused and seek some answers. These guys have no answers. And the B.S. they are SELLING will cost you dearly. Please don't give them your contact info. I have been trying to get them to leave me alone for over 5 years. I have called and asked to be removed from their contact list, but they continue to send me things year after year. Hoping to find me at a time of weakness. They even call me at home, asking extremely personal questions, as if they had the right to know. Avoid these guys like the plague. They will never leave you alone.

  Cult. Seek the lord Jesus Christ as your savior and gain true meaning in your life. Anyone who forces abortions, makes people pay for their teachings or coheres them into anything is definitely a cult. I pray for anyone in this org that Jesus saves you so you can be with him in heaven. I know I will be.
