  This chuch consistently does what it feels like doing w/o engaging anyone in the neighborhood. The only time they've reached out to the neighbors was 6 years ago to get support for their parking lot. The neighbors did the right thing by supporting the chuch in the neighborhood. My personal opinion is that this church is completely divisive, condescending to those that have a differing opinion, and hypocritical. Just my view.

  This is a wonderful church community full of open-minded, caring, and kind individuals. MLLC is a powerful and positive force in the northeast Seattle community through its ongoing outreach efforts. I have been a member for 32 years! Come and see for yourself. All are welcome.

  Even before I was a member they made me feel welcome. The congregation is growing and there are so many young children around it makes church a fun and vibrant place to be.

  This congregation does amazing things, especially for being a small church. Not only do they host a SHARE shelter, but they also host blood drives, ESL classes, quilting groups for immigrants, as well as the usual church activities of Sunday school and worship. They're also a progressive church that is Reconciling in Church. I worship at a different local congregation, but I love Maple Leaf Lutheran.

  The example of human selflesness by giving the homeless a place to rest and collect themselves. Jesus walked with prostitutes, thieves, tax collectors. everyone deserves a second chance. This church is the work of god - selflessness. Good samaritanship. Cheers to you.
